SBG Consulting is operated by Barry Hansen, ASBC® in Walpole, Massachusetts. SBG serves small business clients all over the United States and excels in helping businesses that are experiencing leadership vacuums as they try to expand employee rosters beyond single-digit headcounts. Barry is an accomplished entrepreneur with a penchant for helping small organizations identify opportunities for better efficiency, leadership, and profitability. Prior to consulting for small business owners, Barry held multiple operations management positions across various industries from fast-casual restaurants and brewery operations to eCommerce, and tourism experiences companies. He is a true jack-of-all-trades. His most recent position led to the company being named on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Private Companies four times in a row.

Having been referred to as a “king-maker”, Barry’s work is more about building kingdoms. His methods center on teaching small business owners essential and often overlooked leadership skills. Establishing the fundamentals of leadership and effective communication is the catalyst for business growth. Barry observes and analyzes teams and guides them to scale as they improve and document processes so that essential functions of the business don’t stand in the way of growth or profits.
